This concrete mix can be applied two ways. For quick post setting, place the dry mix around the post and add water – no mixing required. For greater compressive strength, use the wet method by mixing with water before placement for more compressive strength.

How should you finish it?
A water based primer/undercoat is not a necessity (although it wouldn’t hurt), but at least 2 coats of the final colour is a must.
Leaving it unfinished, oiling it or using a clear lacquer is not recommended.
