How to use our fencing calculator
1. Input your fence length, fence height & rail size.
This determines the area coverage of the face of the fence.
2. Choose your post size and spacing.
We recommend a spacing of 2.4 meters between posts to prevent rail bowing due to excessive weight. Explore our range of fence posts if unsure about the required size.
3. Add your paling size and paling spacing.
For a standard fence, palings have no space between them. For increased privacy with a lapped fence, space palings 50mm apart to account for overlap in the second row.
