Orders placed before 3pm that contain stocked items only qualify for next business day delivery. Special order items have varying lead times. Terms and conditions apply.

Our fleet of Narangba Timbers delivery trucks deliver across South-East Queensland, Northern NSW and Toowoomba.

Delivery costs appear at checkout once you enter your postcode.

Outside our regular delivery area? Speak to our team about custom freight throughout Australia.

How does delivery work?

After you’ve placed your order, we’ll pack and get it ready to be loaded onto our trucks. The day before your delivery is scheduled, we’ll send you a text message.

When our delivery team arrives, they’ll unload the timber to your driveway using crane-equipped trucks. No need for a forklift or heavy-lifting!

Do you have a minimum order for delivery?

No. We deliver orders of all sizes.

Can you place timber past the end of my driveway?

We’ll try to put the order where you prefer, but safety rules apply. Delivery is considered “driveway to driveway”, and the driver may refuse unsafe or unstable locations.

I have a special delivery request. Can you accommodate it?

Leave a note at checkout. Our logistics team will review it and conatct you if there’s anything we can’t do.

Can your trucks access my driveway?

Our trucks can be up to 12m long and 2.5m wide. The driver will assess the site on arrival and decide if it’s safe to proceed.

My site can’t take large trucks. What are my options?

Contact our team before placing your order. We’ll work with you to find a solution. Keep in mind our trucks weight up to 31 tonnes.

Can you deliver to unsealed roads or construction sites?

Yes, so long as the driver deems the area safe at the time.

Can you deliver to a specific spot like my backyard?

If the driver decides it isn’t safe for the crane or truck to access the area, they’ll place the goods in the safest nearby spot.

Can you deliver at a specific time?

We’ll do our best, but deliveries are scheduled based on weight, route and vehicle availability. Standard delivery hours are between 7:00am and 2:00pm.

How will I know when my delivery is arriving?

You’ll receive a text message the afternoon before delivery with your ETA. Times can change on the day, but you can live-track your order using the link in the text when the truck has left the delivery scheduled before yours.

What if my order arrives and there’s an issue?

Email us at sales@narangbatimbers.com.au as soon as possible with photos and your order number so we can help resolve the issue quickly.

Collecting your order

How do I place a Click & Collect order?

Add items to your cart, proceed to checkout and select Click & Collect as your fulfilment option. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed and a ready to collect text message once your order has been prepared by our team.

How long does Click & Collect take?

For stocked items, you can collect your order as early as the next day. Lead times may apply to some products. Once your order is ready, you’ll receive a text message confirming it’s available for collection.

Can I collect my order the same day?

Same-day collection isn’t guaranteed. Some products require additional handling or sourcing, so we recommend placing your order online as early as possible.

How will I know when my order is ready to collect?

You’ll receive a text message once your order has been packed and is ready for collection. Please wait for this notification before coming to site.

Where do I go when I arrive to collect my order?

Follow the Click & Collect signage and park in one of the designated collection parking bays. Call the phone number on the signs to let them know you’re here. No need to leave your vehicle!

Do I need to bring anything to collect my order?

Please bring your order number and required equipment to safely secure your order for transport.

What vehicle do I need for Click & Collect?

Make sure your vehicle is suitable for the size and weight of your order. Timber products can be long and heavy, and it’s the customer’s responsibility to ensure safe transport.

Will you help load my vehicle?

Our team will bring your order to your vehicle on a forklift. If safe to do so, they will place your order on the vehicle. For safety reasons, our team cannot assist with securing or strapping down.

Can someone else collect my order for me?

Yes. Please let us know prior to collection and provide them with your order number.

How long will you hold my Click & Collect order?

Orders are typically held for a limited time once ready. If you’re unable to collect promptly, contact our Customer Care Team to make arrangments. Storage fees may apply for orders held longer than 7 days

Can I change my order once it’s ready for collection?

If you need to make changes, contact us as soon as possible. Once an order has been packed, changes may not be possible.

Can I switch from Click & Collect to delivery?

In many cases, yes. Additional delivery fees will apply.

Why can’t I collect lineal metre (LM) products immediately?

LM products require specific preparation and handling. For this reason, they’re only supplied through Click & Collect or Delivery once prepared.

Timber Questions

What is hardwood and softwood?

Softwood (usually Pine) is suited to lighter-duty, low-impact projects unless it has a structural grade.
Hardwood is denser, stronger and ideal for flooring, cladding and outdoor use. Common hardwoods include Merbau, Blackbutt, Ironbark and Spotted Gum.

What is a lineal metre (LM)?

A lineal metre measures length only. If you order 30LM of decking, it refers to the total combined length, not the length of each piece.

What do timber ratings mean?

Timber is classified in three ways:

  • Hazard levels (H1–H6): Indicates treatment level and suitability for different environments
  • Durability classes (Class 1–4): Shows natural resistance to decay and insects
  • Strength ratings (F1–F40+): Measures how much stress timber can withstand
Why is timber treated?

Treatment protects timber from rot, insects and moisture. Different timbers use different methods depending on their end use, from water-based treatments to oil-based preservatives.

What timber is safe around children?

The most common timber treatment is CCA, which is suitable for most projects. Schools, pre-schools and government related areas that children frequent will use ACQ, MicroPro or LOSP treatments.

How do I work out how much timber I need?

Use our decking, flooring, fencing and cladding calculators to estimate.

Can I get set lengths in decking timber?

Most decking is sold in LM, but we do offer set lengths in selected species and composite products. If you’re unsure which suits your build, our decking timber guide can help.

Which is better: decking nails or screws?

Nails are quicker and cheaper upfront but may loosen over time. Screws take longer to install but offer better hold and durability.

What is landscape grade timber?

Landscape grade timber is cut from the denser part of the log to withstand outdoor conditions. Posts and sleeprs are usually cut from the heart, while palings come from the outer sections.

Is engineered timber real timber?

Yes. LVL and other engineered products are made from layers of real timber bonded together for strength and consistency.

What is composite timber?

Composite decking uses a mix of recycled wood fibres and plastics. It’s designed to be low-maintenance and resistant to pests, mould and warping.

Where can I learn more timber terms?
