Logistics Supervisor

Are you an experienced, hands-on Logistics Supervisor looking to join a growing company who values your contribution and rewards your efforts?

 

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Leading a team of 6 Delivery Drivers (3 Full Time, 1 Part Time, 2 Casual)
  • Utilising our online scheduling system to coordinate a fleet of 6 crane trucks performing deliveries across SEQ 5 days per week (Monday - Friday)
  • Optimising the utilisation of our vehicles to surpass customer service targets, whilst controlling freight operations to maintain a profit centre
  • Ensuring routes and truck allocations are planned in accordance with Chain of Responsibility requirements - weight, time and restraint requirements compliant with National Heavy Vehicle Regulations
  • Working collaboratively with our Delivery Drivers, Warehouse Team and Sales Team to ensure a smooth, safe and effective operation for our team and customers
  • Scheduling the service, maintenance and repairs for vehicles and onsite machinery
  • Working collaboratively across the business to support the delivery of key projectsHours of work for this role will be approximately 12:00pm - 8:00pm Monday - Friday

 

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • Demonstrated experience with the application of NHVR and Chain of Responsibility requirements
  • Proven experience in the management of logistics / transport / fleet allocation
  • Proficiency in utilising online platforms (we use Solbox for our logistics management)
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure accuracy in route planning
  • Advanced problem solving skills
  • Professional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • HR Truck Licence and Forklift Licence
  • Dogging Licence would be beneficial but is not mandatory

Internal Sales Representative

We’re searching for an experienced Internal Sales Representative to join our dynamic Sales Team. If you’re passionate about providing exceptional customer service and enjoy a collaborative team environment, then this is the role for you!

 

🛠 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Answering a large volume of calls and managing inbox sales enquires in a timely and professional manner
  • Cross-selling and up-selling products to reach individual KPIs and business targets
  • Creating quotes, sales orders and raising purchase orders through MYOB Acumatica
  • Liaising with suppliers daily, understanding lead times and applying price margins for Special Order enquiries
  • Providing a high level of customer service while maintaining attention to detail when processing orders

The hours of work for this role are 7:30/8:00am - 4:00pm Monday - Friday.

 

📲 What You Bring to the Table

  • Demonstrated experience in meeting sales KPIs
  • Ability to retain a range of product knowledge and apply this knowledge to support customers needs and provide advice on best timber practices
  • Experience in multitasking within a high-volume sales environment using effective time and task management skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with an emphasis on listening to customers and tactful questioning to understand their requirements
  • A proactive attitude to customers by being able to follow our Sales Playbook processes
  • Ability to adapt to change with a positive mindset
  • Experience with Colorbond products or within the timber industry will be highly regarded

Warehouse Storeperson - Day Shift

Are you an experienced Warehouse Storeperson looking to join a team who values your contribution and rewards your efforts? Come join our day shift - 8:30am/9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday (enjoy your weekends off!)

 

What You’ll Be Doing

This role will be primarily focussed on running a new section of our warehouse - our Packing Station. Responsibilities will include:

  • Checking all orders have been picked correctly and meet quality standards
  • Strapping and labelling all orders accurately
  • Operating a forklift safely to move stock into the racking, so they are ready to be loaded onto our trucks
  • Picking and packing timber orders ready for dispatch
  • Using a tablet to receive and review orders requiring picking
  • Supporting customers on site as required
  • General warehouse upkeeping, including cleaning designated work areas

 

What You'll Bring To The Table

  • Experience working in a warehouse/ distribution centre
  • Hold a current forklift licence and experience in forklift operations
  • Be proficient in using a tablet to receive customer orders
  • Have experience working independently as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrate a supportive customer-focused mindset
  • Display a positive attitude and attention to detail
  • Experience in the timber industry will be highly regarded (but is not mandatory)
